“We visited here during our school trip to Bangkok. We got a tour of the slum neighborhood and a lesson in how to upcycle clothing. We even helped make some magnets. Amazing women running and working here” - Toni (teacher)

As a team, we are committed to bringing informative and engaging workshops to help grow and nurture a love for the planet and for the people who dwell in it!

Our workshops help participants connect the challenges facing the poor together with the reality of today's climate crisis. Participants will hear first hand about some issues facing this city’s most vulnerable (from residents of Klong Toey slum), learn about the difference Second Chance can make, and enjoy some simple, fun, hands-on upcycling projects they can take home.

We tailor workshops for school groups depending on age of students, size of the group, and desired learning outcomes such as sustainability, poverty, fast fashion and social responsibility.

Students will learn about the work of Second Chance and meet our friendly staff. They will learn how to upcycle with a range of age appropriate activities. For workshops held at SCB, they will have the opportunity to see (and buy from), and be inspired by our range of upcycled products.

We can also make arrangements to run workshops at your school for larger groups upon request (additional charges apply)

Running time : Approx 2 hours

Student Price : 3,000 THB up to 20 Students

This workshop is perfect for groups of adults who want to engage with our project and learn more for themselves about the work of Second Chance.

Participants will learn how to make different upcycled crafts to take home, and also have time to purchase some of our very own upcycled wares.
